Yellow Bird Company ("Yellow Bird," "we," "us") is a consulting firm based in Victoria, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what your rights are. We operate under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA).

What we collect

When you book a call. We use Cal.com to manage scheduling. When you book a 30-minute call, Cal.com collects your name, email address, and any notes you include in the booking form. Cal.com stores this information on servers in the United States. We receive a copy of your booking details by email.

When you send us an email. We use Resend to send transactional email. Resend logs email delivery events (sent, delivered, opened) to help us confirm messages arrived. We do not use this data for marketing analytics.

When you visit the website. Our site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of visit) as part of normal hosting operations. We do not run additional tracking scripts, analytics platforms, or advertising pixels. No cookies are set by Yellow Bird beyond what Vercel requires for edge delivery.

During an engagement. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to do the work: business documents, workflow descriptions, access credentials for tools we configure on your behalf, and communications. We collect only what the engagement requires.
